My view was that even highly specialized toys sometimes get played with. The guy sold his collection, and this was in it. He had plenty of low end stuff, and a few diamonds. I ended up with a Larry Talbot Sideshow 12 inch for $20 out of the sale. That means the reseller got it for at least half that.

Even the best collectibles eventually end up in "the wild" and then they're at the mercy of the forces of chaos...which have no mercy. People die, or experience some other catastrophe which causes them to lose their prized items. Time will destroy all, including our items and ourselves. Doom & Gloom much? Sorry, that's reality.  :(

Enjoy yourself and your stuff while you can.  :)
ALWAYS MONSTERING...

Any updates to be shared, Sir Spooky?  I'm dying to know goodies DD has to offer for next month.

Just received my Evil Dead Ed figure today and as ever it did not disappoint! Really does look amazing and love the amazing head sculpt as well has the hands. The clothing on all these DD figures always deserves a mention as they always sit right in line with resembling the figures outfit as well as that mego retro feel.

Top marks as ever to Martin and his team and it was a double helping of Evil Dead delight for me today as strangely the Neca Evil Dead 2 clothed Ash retro figure arrived at the same time, well I couldn't have just Ed hanging out on his own could I!

We must be getting close to next months offerings as well so looking forward to some hints on July's releases.  :D

Evil Dead Ed was just as awesome as I thought he would be, except he managed to break a few fingers by delivery time.  Those resin fingers are a big risk in the hands of a USPS employee!  I'm sure Martin will hook me up with a new hand, as he does anytime there is an issue like this.  Monster Squad Dracula did not disappoint either.  The packaging on this was tremendous.  I must admit that I wouldn't mind a break from vampires for a few months (unless it's a 1/6th Carradine or Countess Zaleska!).  I'm really hoping we get a DD 1/6th figure in July.  Talk about fireworks...

Well friends, July 10th is the day mark it on your calenders.

It all burned down even his masterpiece Marie Antoinette.

"But is he alive or dead? Well, that's the question nowadays isn't it? Let's just say I let him continue to exist."

House of Wax is the burned up clue to be sure.

Both figures are great, but Bub is amazing. Wow! I just ordered Bub, but have not seen it reflected in my account?

The Bub is outstanding and was an instant buy for me (it helps that I love these movies so much but the figure looks so amazing!). My payment registered straight away so I'm not sure why yours didn't thm, probably just a paypal delay that I've had before.

This new Romero collection looks fantastic and there are some great collections coming our way this year with what's been released already, can't wait.

Top marks once again all round for the DD team  :D
