My local Dollar Tree store has begun putting out some small, generic items and has an isle bags of candy in Halloween-themed boxes.

The closest Albertsons Food Market has put out a few items (shopping bags, etc.) at the ends of a couple isles.

How I love to see the first little spatters of Orange & Black.

On the hunt now for Hallowe'en decor.
"They come from the bowels of hell; a transformed race of walking dead. Zombies, guided by a master plan for complete domination of the Earth."

I was at Home Goods yesterday and they have lots of Halloween oriented product on the shelves. There are plates and cups festooned with skulls, serving pieces in the shape of spiders, dish towels sporting monster images and tons more stuff. I even saw a very large, almost 1/2 scale Karloff Frankenstein upper torso bust cast in what looks like plaster with red LEDs in his eyes. It was a bit pricey for me ($34.99) at the time, but I"m thinking about going back for it.

Also, World Market is starting to put their Halloween stuff on line. There are new items mixed in with the older stuff.
You knew the job was dangerous when you took it, Fred.

I'll have to look for that Karloff bust!

Those new Frankenstein pillows at World Market are really nice!

I don't have a cell phone, but it seems like everyone else does.

How about taking some pictures?

They also have a double bust version with the Bride.

A blog with lots of pictures of Home Goods Halloween stuff (including the posted bust); http://www.thespookyvegan.com/2016/08/halloween-2016-at-homegoods.html http://www.thespookyvegan.com/2016/08/halloween-2016-at-homegoods-part-2.html

Found a pic of the double bust from Home Goods.

I do believe on both of the Frankenstein figures that while one electrode is located on the neck, the other is located on the temple...for obvious reasons; just enough to avoid those pesky copyright/trademark issues.

Yep....

I remember when Scully and Mulder were the only people I knew who had cell phones.

I had one for a month before they took pictures.

I hated being accessible to anyone at anytime.  Got rid of the damned thing.  (I'm not all that crazy about having one in the house.)

I think that's the main reason I don't have one. I don't want to talk to people while I'm shopping, or driving.

And these are two of the assorted pillows that grabbed my attention. There's other scenes there as well.

Anyone else come across this very interesting "Munsters" piece at Dollar Tree?  All the rest of the jointed cut outs were the same as previous years but this one caught my eye immediately.
