The Digital Bits:

"...Both Dracula and Frankenstein celebrate their 90th anniversaries this year. The Mummy turns 90 next year, while The Wolf Man celebrates its 80th anniversary in 2021.

So here the even better news: Our studio sources have informed us that Universal is indeed quietly preparing to release all four films on physical 4K Ultra HD in late September or early October in a Universal Monsters Classics Collection. The set is starting to appear for pre-order on select European retail sites, and we expect it to be announced here in the States in the weeks ahead. What we don't know yet is whether single-film 4K SKUs will be available immediately, or not until next year (as was the case with Universal's recent Hitchcock 4K set)."

Don't have any 4K videos. Not likely to ever buy any.

The 50's/60's featured some of the best 3D film presentations; can't wait to check this one out.

They're adding some newly restored footage of Brla Lugosi as an extra too.

"For the July 27 live television spot on YOU ASKED FOR IT, Lugosi performed the "Vampire bat Illusion" which might have been featured in his touring magic show over the past several years. Assisting him on the broadcast was actress Shirley Patterson,.."

Strange collection? You'd think they would have The Mummy, instead of the IM, in a 4 monster set.
