Yep.  Got the Bob Hope one in the Kino sale, and couldn't pass up this one with the better monster!

I alway thought there should have been a Tom & Jerry cartoon called "The Cat in the Cannery". (Tom chasing Jerry through a canning factory.)

Saw a copy of Circus of Horrors, which recently went OOP with Shout Factory, so I grabbed that for my Hammer collection. Also grabbed Twins of Evil and Vampire's Kiss to fill out the order.

I think I'm gonna focus on filling out the Dracula, Frankenstein, and Mummy films from Hammer before I look into more of their standalone horrors.

The Nicolas Cage movie?

There's a lot of great one-offs I'd buy before some of the Frank and Drac movies, like "Quatermass and the Pit", "The Devil Rides Out" and "Hound of the Baskervilles".

Yep!  The Nicholas Cage movie.

I know there's a list.  I need to get my movies organized and see what I still need.  I've been making decent progress.

Since your other gets were Hammer movies, I thought you might have meant "Kiss of the Vampire".

Oh, that list. Never mind!

Available from eBay seller Blowitoutahere for $23.06 w/Free Shipping. Amazon has it for a few pennies less but you have to order $35 worth to get the free shipping. I ordered it from the eBay seller.

Mondo offers the limited editions of new Blu-rays in combo packs with extras (4K disc, slipcase, red case, etc) for higher prices these days, then a few months later they offer the regular Blu-ray release which you can usually buy for a little over $20. I usually just wait since I haven't gone 4K and the other extras aren't really worth the extra cost for me. I'm satisfied with the Blu-ray and special features contained on it.

The new composite print that was created for this release is really nice! Featuring the US release along with the European cuts to make a longer unedited film. Certainly worth it.
DARK SHADOWS:

David Collins: "Dead people dont just get up and walk around.."

Sarah Collins: "Sometimes they do."

Looking forward to it!

Vinegar Syndrome did a similar thing for their release of "The Werewolf vs. Vampire Woman" (actually La Noche de Walpurgis, or Werewolf Shadow). Their "Spanish 'Nude' Integral Version" which clocks in at 95 minutes is the most complete version of the movie available (The International Export "Nude" version which is also included is only 87 minutes). The great documentary The Man Who Saw Frankenstein Cry is another awesome thing about that release.

I'm so glad we finally got excellent releases of Werewolf Shadow and Tombs of the Blind Dead, probably the two most important films from the golden age of Spanish Horror, and two of the very best. Now if some company would step up and provide good Blu-ray releases of Mark of the Wolfman (aka Frankenstein's Bloody Terror  ;D ) and Curse of the Devil.

I need more Vinegar Syndrome stuff.  Gotta get around to that.

Is there any blu-ray release of 'Dracula's Daughter' (1936) beyond the Legacy Collection and the German 'Alive AG'?
I understand these are both very mediocre transfers - no better than the DVD - with absolutely zero extras.

Is this a different one?
