Here's a more modern take on a container (or two) for trick or treating:

The graphics are admittedly way cool, but it would present some very real capacity problems on the big night.

Nice to see my pic (again) of two buckets.  A member of this forum owns the one on the right; I still own the "yellow" one.
Of course, Monolith mentions the bags he shows were his own in the 1970s, so the buckets were only "modern" in their day and plastic bags are still around...  I would have loved a Frankenbucket back in the day, but capacity certainly was a primary concern.  I always looked for a Halloween BAG...  I have a witch rocket bag just like the one you pictured.
If you want to view Paradise, simply look around and view it.

Drat! I didn't notice that you'd already posted that precise picture in this thread.

Here are a couple more cool Halloween candy boxes:

Wow! Can you imagine trick or treating back in the day and getting a whole full size chocolate bar? When I was a kid I actually thought that this was a commonplace occurrence in the States because of ads such as these in Life and Saturday Evening Post magazines!

Love Frazetta's Sea Witch painting! I have a poster of it framed and hanging in my comic/monster mag room.  ;)

I never tire of looking at Frazetta's work.
ALWAYS MONSTERING...

A nice Gray Morrow cover!

Interesting that Eerie 6 has somehow eluded me to this point. Not that I've ever devoted any effort to seeking it out of course....

So circa 1970 wild cool ads like these showcasing a Life Size Moon Monster began to appear in better comic magazines everywhere:

And wow! Here's a pic of the genuine article that buyers/subscribers received in the mail:

But those who sent in their dollar to join America's only Monster Fan Club received so much more! An itemized list of what the lucky subscribers scored is catalogued right here.

Mike, I clicked on your link.  Fantastic work. I actually owned the Gogos art to Creepy 30 and FM 111 at one time. Wish I had them back now.  I'll try to surprise you soon with some photos. And, this Monster kit was just on E-bay from the comic ad, looked complete.
