Chrome won't let me post pics on UMA

I'm using Google Chrome to post this pic from ImageShack.

Yep, "Copy Image Address", not "Copy Image". *facepalm*

Bye, bye, Internet Explorer and playing musical browsers.

My Diener Space Creatures:

Mike, I was going about it wrong. I was clicking on "Copy Image" instead of "Copy Image Address". I tried that for the image above and it worked. Thanks for challenging me to dig a little further. Seems simple now that I know.

Well, there's your problem!  ;D  Indeed! The web address. The URL ending in .jpg, etc.

Quote from: horrorhunter on May 03, 2020, 03:54:41 PMThose are pics of the Marx Campus Cuties.

These are the Marx Bathing Beauties:

The Campus Cuties are around 5" tall and would be too big for the 4" monster figures. The Bathing Beauties are 3" tall and would make good "victim" figures to be menaced by the monsters.

Oh groan.

You had typed Bathing Beauties. Somehow this morning I got the "bright" idea of offering up a picture of the Campus Cuties in response to your post. So I did a Search for Campus Cuties on UMA and I found some. Then I posted them without noticing or realizing that the reference in your post was to the Bathing Beauties. I even went and copied your "Bathing Beauties" words to describe the pictures I was posting.

And I knew the difference between the two. Pictures of the Bathing Beauties had also popped up when I did my Search for Campus Cuties. I guess I was so eager to post Campus Cuties pictures that your reference to Bathing Beauties in your post just didn't register with me when I went to post earlier today.

Kind of tough to explain being so focused on the Campus Cuties that I ignored your actual words though. I know, I know! I'll blame it on the stress related to the whole Wuhan virus thing!

No worries, Hep.

I've been making bigger mistakes by trying to post pics on UMA with Chrome by clicking on "copy image" instead of "copy image address". It was never an issue with UMA's security certificate at all. I was just clicking on the wrong thing.  ::)

At least I don't have to fool with Internet Explorer anymore now that I finally got that straight. I'm not too tech savvy, but I keep plugging away.

The real reason why I bungled so badly on the Bathing Beauties/Campus Cuties is that after almost four years and 105 pages of this thread, it's now tough to find ideas for this thread that are entirely new. Therefore whenever I get an idea for a quick post on something new and different I'm all too eager to post it.

Here's a little weirdy. It's a rubber Skullbat I bought from an eBay seller a few years ago.

Hey, I have those.  ;D

Here's an old pic of some junk on some of my mag boxes with the Sanjulian Uncle Creepy and Cousin Eerie posters in the background.

I bought those from Dennis Druktenis many moons ago.

And, here's another old pic of my Harris (reprint) Vampi door poster by Jose Gonzalez.

I have an original Warren Vampi door poster as well but that one stays rolled up in a poster tube. I bought the original from an eBay seller who purchased a few at the Warren bankruptcy sale back around '83. Also bought an original Dirt From Dracula's Castle pendant with COA from that guy.

I don't know how often you are into those boxes, but if you drape a cloth over them, it would look like a table or other piece of furniture underneath.

That's true. I open them often enough to try to keep what's on top to a minimum, though it doesn't look that way in the pic. I'm always moving this junk around because fate has decreed that what I want at any given moment is what's under something else.

I got the same problem. Not only the junk on top, but the boxes are stacked 4 deep, so if you want what's in the bottom one you gotta drag 3 (heavy) boxes off the top of it!
