Got my copy today!

Fallen from grace and driven from the British Empire in previous instalments, Dracula seems long gone. A relic of the past. Summer is for 'Old Friends', so right now, I'm reading BAIT, a Christie Opara mystery by Dorothy Uhnak.  Detective Opara was a Police Widow with a small son, and came across like a 1968 version of Olivia Benson.  She was good at her job, able to keep up with the "boys" and didn't ask for favours..  It was also nice to read about a female character who wasn't  either a secretary or a "Bond Girl".

Ms. Uhnak didn't write too many "Christie" stories, but you can probably find them in a library,....  They'll be well worth the effort.

Since we don't have a fanfic section here, I'm providing a link to my vampire story "Tim Burton's Red Reign: Anno Dracula 1988-89." Thought it would make for an interesting Halloween treat. While inspired by Kim Newman's "Anno Dracula" series, you don't need to be familiar with it to follow the story. Enjoy!
