Will there be a model contest this year? Something happened last year that Terry isn't holding the AMF contest. A local group did and the contest announcement almost didn't happen. So far I haven't seen one so I'm hoping someone has info.
Tish, you spoke French!!  You know it drives me wild when you spead French!!!

I'll be attending Saturday.  Hope to finally meet some UMA folks.  Is there a special T-shirt, badge or place where UMAers meet up?

Usually you'll find them near wherever alcohol is served.

Hit up the palooza last night.  Didn't take too many pictures since there was a lot of stuff I had already seen but here's a few...

Lots of werewolves...the Mike Hill Teenage Werewolf was amazing up close!

Had a great time at Monsterpalooza! It was nice meeting Chris Zephro, president of Trick or Treat Studios. Really nice guy. We had a discussion about TOTS making Universal Monster masks. I explained to him how popular the Glenn Strange Frankenstein is with collectors and how cool it would be if TOTS offered one. Coincidentally he has a meeting with Universal today to discuss licensing. He's going to ask in particular about a GS Frank mask so lets keep our fingers crossed. Kidagain, use your Jedi mind powers to help make it happen.  ;D I'm going to e-mail him tomorrow to see how it went. The biggest issue is that Universal wants an arm and a leg for their classic monster licensing. Hopefully Chris will be able to strike a deal. Stay tuned. By the way Count Zachula, that Mike Hill Teenage Werewolf was great! I asked him about it. He made that in 2 weeks! Amazing talent! Thanks for posting the pics. I'll try to post some when I have time but I didn't take as many pics this year either. Was too busy having fun with my son at 'palooza!  ;D

Thanks sooooo much Glenn for remembering to ask Chris about the GS Frank mask. My Jedi powers aren't what they used to be do to age but I'll give it a try. Thanks again pal.

BROD101 did it again. MONSTERPALOOZA 2016 was bigger and better than ever. Families Karloff, Lugosi and Price were present and were treated as the film royalty they are.
It was a fun three days and I had a chance to touch bases with old friends as well as meet new ones. Rondos were presented to Mike Hill and film historian/maven David Del Valle.
Sunday was topped off by a surprise visit by Dick Van Dyke strolling through the venue just being another fan.
I'm already planning  for Son Of MONSTERPALOOZA.
