aura of foreboding

I am glad Mr. Peanut clarified that the almonds are covered in pumpkin and spices as opposed to just pumpkin spice, which as we all know is the magical seasoning that makes pumpkins grow.

I'd like to try the ice cream!...

Ben & Jerry's made a pretty good Pumpkin Ice Cream last year.  I'm pretty sure they will make it again this year.

My local Walmart Food Mart couldn't keep it in stock - kept selling out.

Here are a few random examples of Liquid Halloween:

Pumpkin Pie Soda from Maine Root

Harvest Pumpkin Ale from Blue Moon Brewing

                 Pumpkin Ale from Magic Hat

Fat Jack Double Pumpkin Ale from Samuel Adams

                 Pumpkin Pie Vodka from Pinnacle

Pumpkin Spice Rum and Coffee Liqueur from Kahlua

Pumpkin Spice Coffee Creamer from Baileys

Even your puke can taste pumpkin-y.

Now that's something I don't think I'd like. Pumpkin flavored drinks.

Me either, but someone must - there are a ton of them.

Here are some cookie additions:

These Pepperidge Farm bags are dated to expire in 2014, but I see that they are on sale again this year.

Pumpkin Cheesecake Cookies from Pepperidge Farm

Pumpkin Spice Milano Cookies from Pepperidge Farm

Here is another variation from Nonni's that I did not see at my Big Lots Store.

Dark Chocolate Pumpkin Spice Biscotti from Nonni's

Any of these would be good with some Pumpkin Spice Ice Cream.  I want to find some more of those Nonni's Biscotti of both kinds.

They don't update their catalog pictures - or rotate their stock.

I haven't seen the Candy Corn-flavored M&M's yet this year, but they were pretty good - so maybe these are OK:

Pumpkin Spice M&M's from Mars Candy Company

Or if you require fancier chocolate:

Pumpkin Spice Milk Chocolate Truffles from Lindt

These look good to me:

Pumpkin Spice Malted Balls from Nuts.Com

The Whoppers folks should make a version of their own - and maybe make small bags of them plus "Candy Apple Malted Balls" or "Caramel Apple Malted Balls" for handing out to the trick-or-treaters.  I'd buy 'em.

Something to sneak in to the movies:

Pumpkin Spice Boom Chicka Pop Kettle Corn from Angie's

Haven't tried these yet, but I like their regular Kettle Corn - Not too salty, and no un-popped kernels.

Neither one of these sounds good to me:

Extra Pumpkin Spice Gum from Wrigley

Candy Corn Oreo Cookies  from Nabisco

Never was a fan or gum.

Looked around for the Pumpkin Spice Oreos.  They have been out for several years but I have never seen a bag anywhere.  I found these Candy Corn Oreos at Target - didn't think I wanted to try them.

By the way, Target had the Ben & Jerry's Pumpkin Cheesecake Ice Cream and Pumpkin Spice Eggos.  Think If I toasted an Eggo extra crunchy and put a scoop of the ice cream on top it might be good?  (Some people might even put a thin drizzle of caramel and crumbled pecans on top and call it a fancy desert - topping it with a maraschino cherry is purely optional.)

You guys are talking about Halloween-themed treats and pumpkin spice flavored items and no one has mentioned the stuff from Dunkin' Donuts yet?  Their pumpkin coffee and doughnuts are great.  Just be careful though.  Last year, Dunkin' Donuts discontinued all of the pumpkin stuff immediately after Halloween, because they're just that impatient to get the Christmas stuff out.

Pumpkinhead loves this stuff.  ;)

A life without Halloween and monsters is a life of boredom.
