Local Big Lots has begun to put things out.  Two very short isles - nothing to speak about, yet.

I've been hoping that this would be a really big merchandizing year, since Halloween is on a Saturday.  Of course, I hoped the same thing for the Friday Halloween last year.

Went to the Home Depot this morning and they had their Halloween stuff out. Some cool items so check out their website or pay them a visit.

I just bought their spider and was eyeing a crow last year but didn't pick him up.  I know that CVS has the crow, dog and cat.....all of which may end up in my display this year.

Anyone checked out Walgreen's?  They have had some unique Halloween items in the past - things that were not being sold by any other (or many other) places.

The Menards near where I live has started to put out some stuff. I purchased today a talking raven in a rusted cage that will look excellent as an accent piece for my cemetery this year. They also had a mini Frankenstein that takes off his head on clearance for fifteen dollars. Their animatronics are also reasonably priced. They have a cool Medusa, whose snake hair wriggles and writhes atop her head and it's less than $90.00.

The man in black fled across the desert and the gunslinger followed...

Zargone's are great! They used to be called "Be Something Studios". They're one of the most comfortable masks to wear and they are quality made. They also have some great original designs.

These 17½" X 41" plastic wall hangings from Create a Scene (Momentum Brands) are selling in large enough numbers on eBay to suggest they are currently available ins stores.  The two different package colors might mean that they are items that were also on sale in a previous year.

They are new to me, so here they are:

The stated dimensions seem curious to me.  The illustration on the package does not appear to be of an image that long and narrow.

I assume there's just less wall on the sides.

Yes, don't let your kids play with it, or they might get a paper cut!

They are really thin plastic.  The warning is probably because it would be like not letting your kids play with Saran Wrap - the little dears might suffocate themselves.

(Who are these dumb kids, anyway?)

It's the parent advocacy groups that are dumb. Man, I would hate to have to be a kid in this over-protective environment. You might as well wrap all your offspring in bubble-wrap until they turn twenty-one.
