Crimson Ghost

Man, I fly to Hong Kong November 4th. I'm extremely bummed that I will not make Don Con.

Pete, you've got to, I'll be working in your lab soon anyway ;)

Haunted hearse

In 1982, Fangoria did a nice write up for "Halloween 3", and I thought there might be some interest in the full page ad Don Post Studios had for "The Halloween 3".
What ever happened to my Transylvania Twist?

Bummer, I was hoping to say hi at Don-Con CG. Anyway, enjoy Hong Kong.

Halted Hearse, that exact Fangoria issue was what got me intrigued with H3 when I was a kid. I still have my original copy and in my opinion I think that's the best Fango cover ever.
I have a lot of new masks additions that I will be posting.

Crimson Ghost

Some new scores:

Abbot and Costello meets Frankenstein tribute set. This copy of the Don Post Smooth Frankenstein was molded from a master copy years ago, paint by Rob, Hair by Dante. It has amazing detail. The 1100 Line Don Post Wolfman was painted by Rob and haired by Dante, and the original sculpt 60s DP Newman Dracula was finished by Kelly Mann in the 66' Calendar style. All foamed by Dante.

Crimson Ghost

This is a one of a kind Conol Cochran bust created by Kelly Mann. The head was Daniel Horne's personal latex blank copy. Kelly painted and haired the head and built the bust from scratch.

I had a copy of the white and green 1983 Don Post Medusa. I had Cathy Tharp repaint it to resemble the elusive 82' Gold Medusa that is seen in Halloween III.
The gold copies do not exist today because the original gold paint that was used back then reacted with the latex and melted the masks. The mask is now being foam filled, I'll post pics when it is completed.

Crimson Ghost

I finally got my hands on a rare blank of a Saucer Man. I sent it to Rob Tharp and had him do a similar paint up based off of the screen used props.he was then foam filled by Dante. He's really cool! Big and brightly colored, I love it.

Crimson Ghost

Also scored a 79' Don Post Glow Gargoyle. This is such a great mask.

Crimson Ghost

Recently nabbed a red 1982 DP Razooly and had him foam filled.

Crimson Ghost

Picked up Cathy and Rob's 1967 Felix Adler, it was castes off of my friends original copy. The originals are very rare. I like this a lot more then the EK Clown mask.

Hey CG, It took me a minute to post because I had to wait for my head to stop spinning.  ;) Great doesn't even begin to describe all these new pieces. I'm particularity fond of your A&C meet Frankenstein tribute but all are amazing. Thanks so much for sharing. These are all a rare treat.  :)

Best thread ever. There's a handful of masks in your collection that I've been hunting for years. Your a lucky dog. Great collection.

Is there anything in the BSS area for sale?  ;D
