Tremors TV Series

Apparently Kevin Bacon has hooked up with Amazon to get a Tremors TV series going. I'm not sure how I feel about it seemingly looking to ignore 2-5, but anything that gets me more Tremors in my life is a good thing.

The same Kevin Bacon who allegedly felt his career had gone into the toilet when he signed on to do a movie about giant underground worms?

'Tremors I-V' and the series is/was one of favorite guilty pleasures.  Met Michael Gross at Monsterpalooza  two years ago, before 'Tremors V' came out.  Nice man who thoroughly enjoys playing Burt Gummer - my hero!

If the series comes to fruition, I'd hope Michael Gross would return as Burt, but I'm not holding my breath.
