The Wiki page has a B&W drawing from 1919, but it lacks your image's Zero and Tony.

I have no idea what the connection is? It just showed up in a Google Image search. :)

Poster for Frankenstein's Bloody Terror (1968) which was really The Mark Of The Wolfman from newcomer Paul Naschy.

I'm pretty sure the artwork is by great comic artist Gray Morrow who Sam Sherman hired to do promotional artwork for Independent International and Hemisphere. He also did the art for the "Wolfstein" intro segment which clumsily tried to explain why this is a Frankenstein movie and not a werewolf movie. At least the art is good, as is the movie if you like over-the-top bloody Eurohorror (which I certainly do).

And probably one of the inspirations for The Invisible Monster from the Jonny Quest episode of the same name.

Did Tor once complain, "Why does Lon always get to handle the babes, and not me?  I have just as few of letters in MY name - and he doesn't even go by L-O-N to his pals!"

Tor, there is no justice, I suppose.

MEMPH, that make-up on the right - a hairy-armed/handed critter - isn't that a demonstration of another thread on this forum about "Wolfie" liaisons?  Wasn't there a post about someone with hairy nails?  Good grief... who knew this film was so far ahead of its Fashion Time?  Holy HG Wells, Batman!

The Black Sleep was a picture ahead of it's time in many ways, fashion not withstanding. I cant wait for the new Blu-ray release w/extras of it next month. Going to look even better!
