This has me utterly depressed.  First I hear news that Count Yorga is in hospice (that's why he isn't signing anything, folks...too ill). Now, Forry has died.  I hope Prince Sirki stays the h%ll away from Christopher Lee.  At least he's in a better place.   God I'm depressed. :'(

Priceless in every way.

You're very fortunate.  I never got to meet him.  I only talked to him on the phone once, and got an autograph in the mail.  Guess maybe I'll meet him in the hereafter.

He lived a long and amazing life.  Still, it doesn't really make it any easier for us to say goodbye.   :'(

Rest in peace, Uncle Forry.

And thanks for everything.

Okay.
he MADE us.
Our parents BIRTHED us, but Uncle Forry made us what we are today.
Luckily I got to see him a few weeks ago and remind him how much he meant to me.
To all of us.

Right now God is hearing some AWFUL puns...

Illoman

God bless Uncle Forry. Thanks for birthing monsterdom.

He may be physically gone, but Forry's legacy lives on in all of us. We should all take a lesson in the way he lived his life, pursue our passions with enthusiasm and joy and most of all share the things we love with those around us. Thank you, Forrest J Ackerman for making us all the Monster Kids we are, we will never forget you.
You knew the job was dangerous when you took it, Fred.

I just logged on and was shocked, even knowing it was coming, I still feel numb.  This is indeed a dark day.  As long as we live and remember, he will still live on inside of and through us.  Whenever we collect another monster/Sci-Fi item or attend a monter convention, he will be there with us.  Rest in peace Forrest J. Ackerman, and thank you.
