I don't think there was. Apparently someone messaged the seller with the big offer and the seller added the "BIN $200" by revising the listing. I guess eBay allows that if there are no bids (which there weren't at that point).

A couple more VTTBOTS eBay auctions went pretty high.

Heavily restored Remco Seaview with a repro box and 2 original divers went for around $380+ total (w/sh & tax). It displays well but contains a lot of restoration. This sold for more than I thought it would, probably because the seller didn't try to gouge on the shipping price.

This Remco "Sea Monster" repurposed Hamilton's Invaders Beetle sold for $155+ total (w/sh & tax). It has the horn which is often missing but has a couple of melt marks on one leg. These were unpainted and did away with the pull-string "crawling" action but kept the wheels underneath. I bid but wasn't even close to what it went for. These are probably scarcer than the HI Beetles which explains the ending price somewhat. Also, the seller charged cheap shipping which always frees up bidders to bid more.
