Unless Hold That Ghost or Meet the Killer - Boris Karloff counts??

I always thought Meet the Killer should be an official A&C Meet The Monsters movie, because it stars Universal's #1 horror star. Hold That Ghost is one of their best movies, but it doesn't have Karloff, or even a real ghost.

Was this the set you were referring to Mord?? If so no this wasn't the set I saw in the catalog. :(

The only other MEET THE MONSTERS set that I recall is the LD, but it doesn't have MEET THE KILLER, either.

Yep, that's the one. My brother made me a custom "Abbott & Costello Meet the Monsters" DVD set and used that as a cover.

That's great! Maybe my brother can print up a copy of this one. It's definitely a marked improvement (though my set includes "Meet the Killer, B. K.).

You'd have to find it without the watermark (and larger).

And the logo free artwork for Meet The Killer Boris Karloff. Mord, is your set the MCA tapes or the later tapes with the poster art?? I'm just curious because you said your set includes The Killer BK which the later set I'm pretty sure did not.

Actually, it's a homemade DVD set with cut & paste back cover art (the front art is the grey A&C cover you posted). The actual films are from the A&C box set. My brother did it to hold me over until Universal does a proper set. They may never get around to it, so I'm grateful for what I have.

Well you never know. It took them this long to finally have a Monster DVD collection that actually includes the A&C Monster films!! So we'll see I guess.

I just wish they would have included the "Meet Jekyll & Hyde" one. I'd much rather have that than that "Phantom of the Opera" remake.

I thought you said you had the big A&C box set?

No, my brother made a homemade set using the big box for the masters. I will definitely buy an "official" Universal A&C Monsters set, if they ever get around to it.
