Topps released a 132 sticker set of Monster Initial Stickers in 1974. I surmise that almost all were stuck somewhere because nice specimens are really tough to find these days. I have only the wrapper:

132? There's only 26 initials.

OK, I got The Mutant, The Vampire (1957) and Teenage Werewolf, but who are the eye guy, the guy in the hood and the spaceman/helmet guy?

The hooded guy might have been influenced by Horror Hotel (1960) which was released in the US in '61. As for the other two I'm not sure. For cheap kiddie fare like this the artist could have just made them up. This stuff is very important to us as collectors, but back then it was just cheap junk to be hacked out for those weird monster lovin' young'uns:laugh:

That hooded guy favors Vincent Price but the hood is wrong for Pit And The Pendulum (1961). Maybe it's an amalgam...who knows?

Entirely possible, but since have of them are film based, I thought the others might be.

That hooded guy looks so familiar! Horror Hotel was my first thought, but I couldn't find any matching stills.

Perhaps that hooded figure is from 1964's MASQUE OF THE RED DEATH, before it is revealed who's behind the hood?

The spaceman helmet guy reminds me a bit of Gigantor.
I love the fact the 1957 Vampire is there- I'm really a fan of that film.

I couldn't find matching stills, but it could be either, or both of those.

The Horror Monsters trading cards came out in 1961, so unless the folks at Nu-Cards had crystal balls it couldn't have been Masque.

Sorry, I was unaware of the year that the cards came out. Maybe it's the guy from THE SEVENTH SEAL(1958) or just some dude in a hoodie.
I guess the year would also rule out Gigantor. Perhaps they're just randomly conjured-up characters created to fill space on the card, like all the random villains behind Penguin, Joker, Catwoman, and Clayface in the 1966 Batman TV show animated open.
