I figure I'm using enough shelf space to hold (roughly) 1,200 half inch wide DVD boxes. Most of those boxes hold 1 movie, but some hold up to 4. Some boxes are 2-3 times as wide and hold 1-10 movies. So, it's anybody's guess as to how many different titles I actually have. I don't have all that many TV series sets. Mostly '60s shows.

I got a few budget DVDs at Wal-Mart.  Gremlins/Gremlins 2 and The Fog/The Howling.  I got them because they both had a movie I hadn't seen.  ( Wanted to see Gremlins 2 & The Fog.  I HATE The Howling.)

I might upgrade Fog to a full solo version down the line.  I thought it was fun.
