Unfortunately, it doesnt look all that better than a recent bootleg copy that I got for it; the sound is really dire in some points.. still. at least it is a legit release after all this time.

DVD Drive-In says it looks and sounds great!

The were just a little nicer to ROTAM than you were. Still, I may just save a couple of bucks and get the DVD.

Bought some oldies, but hard to geties. The 3 PRC horrors released by Image Ent. in new, or like new condition. "The Flying Serpent", "The Devil Bat's Daughter" and "Strangler of the Swamp". Been looking to get them at a decent price, but didn't think I'd get them all in the same day!

I was pleasantly surprised when I first saw FLYING SERPENT several years ago because Zucco is far more than a his standard one-dimensional Mr Sneer/Mr Sinister role.  And STRANGLER IN THE SWAMP was another good surprise.

Maybe these films benefit from low expectations.  DEVIL BAT'S DAUGHTER, we have, but I've never seen it.  Shame shame shame.  I think SWAMP made me pull out ATTACK OF GIANT LEECHES because I wanted to experience more swamp-action.  Without Burt Reynolds and Jerry Reed, I mean.

Very good movie! Especially considering it's a PRC!

DEVIL BAT'S DAUGHTER I got to complete the collection.

I picked this up of Amazon. The only downside is there are no English subtitles. Does anyone know where I could buy some of these old Luchador monster movies with subtitles?

I just ordered the FRANKENSTEIN and WOLF MAN: COMPLETE LEGACY COLLECTION Blu-ray sets at just $16.99 a piece from Amazon Prime! That's the lowest I've ever seen as I've been waiting for a price drop. They've gone up and down and currently, the DRACULA and MUMMY sets are $24.48, so I'll wait to see if they go down later. So, for any one else out there who's been waiting too, grab 'em now at that great price! The FRANKENSTEIN blu-ray set is actually $3.00 cheaper than the DVD set - how wild is that?
