Severin Films to release Doctor Butcher M.D./Zombie Holocaust on Blu-ray (2 disc set) on 7/26: https://severin-films.com/shop/doctor-butcher-m-d-blu-ray/

Doctor Butcher M.D. is a re-edit of Zombie Holocaust (1980) by an American distributor that caused a stir in 42nd Street Grindhouses. Both versions of the film are presented uncut and fully restored, and a plethora of extras are included along with a Doctor Butcher M.D. barf bag to the first 5000 ordered from Severin. I preordered mine. I love my classic monster movies but also have an appreciation for Drive-In/Grindhouse Classics from the '70s and '80s.

This rode in today.

Great underrated film. I own the IMAGE release
"They come from the bowels of hell; a transformed race of walking dead. Zombies, guided by a master plan for complete domination of the Earth."

This finally arrived.

I'm really enjoying the second one so I wanted to order first Trailer Trauma.

The second one is really great. It features 97 trailers (nearly 3 1/2 hours) of some cool and rare trailers, mostly monster movies. It also has a commentary track which is what I'm listening to currently. It's so much content I just do it in chunks. Good stuff here, mars. You would dig it.

I am actually looking on Amazon and Ebay for the disc. Btw, horrorhunter, have you ever seen the Something Weird Video
trailer compilation VHS/DVD?

No problem, friend.

I used to peruse a Border's book store in Knoxville every time I went to Gatlinburg a few years ago. I bought most of my Something Weird Video DVDs there, including several box sets. I probably paid too much at the time, but I've gotten a lot of enjoyment out of those discs over the years. I guess I got a bargain at that.  :)

The good old days of hunting for Something Weird, videos.
Borders, Tower and Virgin Records were the places to buy
those DVDs. Pricey at the time. Retailed around 14.99-24.99.
These days in the secondary market, Something Weird Videos retail for much more.

Mike Scott

Had the 3 Amicus/Burroughs/McClure movies via the Midnite Movies DVDs, but was missing the 4th McClure fantasy film, until picking up this R2 disc. Produced shortly after the Amicus series, by a different studio, but retaining same the star and director (but not Burroughs) of the earlier movies.

Interesting looking movie that I've never seen. I found a boot for folks who can't play PAL: http://www.deep13movies.com/warlords-of-atlantis-dvd

I enjoy the first three Amicus Burroughs adaptations even if they do have those cheap rubber suits for dinos and monsters. I'll probably pick this one up as well.
