I've always loved this flick. It has achieved status as a cult classic. People are starting to accept it as a stand alone movie now and not the "Halloween movie without Michael Myers". If they had called it something like "Happy Halloween" instead of "Halloween III" it wouldn't have gotten such a bad rep in the first place. Tom Atkins was at Son of Monsterpalooza. It was cool seeing him in person. He's been in so many movies that I like.

Met Tom Atkins at a Fangoria Weekend of Horrors, once. A really nice person and very friendly.

In stores today: "Electric Boogaloo: The Wild, Untold Story of Cannon Films."

Makers of such fare as "Texas Chainsaw Massacre Part 2," Tobe Hooper's "Lifeforce" and "Invaders from Mars," and other B-movie  classics from the mid to late 1980's.

Review in today's NY Post.

Mike...In 3-D!

I just grabbed the blu-ray of We Are Still Here from Best Buy for $10. Pretty cool movie. Not a must see but for $10 it was worth adding to the collection.

Good stuff! Brett Piper's homage to '50's sci-fi stuff..with some ATTACK OF THE CRAB MONSTERS action thrown in. :)

It's a pretty neat film from FULL MOON pictures..Michael Berryman is the henchman in it also..it's not high art, but it is entertaining, nonetheless.

Though this movie looks more Harryhausen than Corman. ;)

And Fog Island, with Zucco AND Atwill.  Plus perennial favorite, Jerome Cowan, who obviously got better for this and many other films after being killed as Miles Archer in 1941.
