Yep. Anything would be.

I kept all my old Alphas but honestly some of the PD compilation versions from Mill Creek and similar companies look better than the Alpha version, or at least as good. Alpha has a place in the history of home video, but they were rough.

Finally got my replacement BD for The Devil's Wedding Night from Severin.

Took 2 months. I guess they got their lacquer problem fixed because at least it loads now. I don't think I'll be preordering anything else from Severin. I like their products, but I'll wait for problems to surface on new releases.

Sounds like a plan!

Mill Creek has a Blu set (in RA) with those 6 movies, plus "Return of the Vampire" and "Five".

Ordered the "cheap" (not really) version of the Hammer release of "Four-Sided Triangle". I needed if for my Hammer collection and my '50s sci-fi movies collection.

I've never seen this one before and noticed it's on Tubi, so I'll check it out tonight. Looks promising. Hard to beat Joseph Stefano.

Because it is Joseph Stefano, it plays a lot like his classic OUTER LIMITS episodes rather than a Twilight Zone or Thriller. Certainly not a bad thing.

Yes, noticed some familiar faces from Outer Limits and the ghost effects looked a lot like a certain Galaxy Being we know and love. Definitely Stefano, and like you say that isn't bad at all. I enjoyed the movie. It was supposed to be a possible pilot for a new series. Too bad that didn't happen. Funny I'd never heard of this before. Always something new to monster over.

Happy Halloween to me! Thought I'd finally upgrade my old Bela Lugosi Collection DVD set. BTW, my set still plays, but I know many people had trouble with the DVD-18s. I had trouble with the Abbott and Costello Collections though. I returned at least 2 sets before I got one that played all the films.

Also excited to receive this new release.
