Monsters For Sale

They've got a nice under $10 sale at Kino Lober! I would have bought more, but I just spent 100 bucks on BDs at amazon.

20,000 Leagues Under the Sea (Blu-ray) $9.99
Dr. Cyclops (Special Edition) (Blu-ray) $9.99
F.W. Murnau's Nosferatu - Deluxe Remastered Edition (Blu-ray) $9.99

Even with amazon's free shipping, I still saved $20 with KL.

Just got a shipping notice on 5 things I bought from them on pre-order a couple months ago.  They were having a really good sale at the time.

I was surprised that they charged me $10 less than my original bill.  Seems the price on something had dropped between then and now.  I didn't know they did that.  I knew that Amazon ships at the lowest price, but it never occurred to me that Kino offered the same deal.

Got the Chucky 7 Movie Blu Ray set and the Silent Night, Deadly Night 3, 4, 5 sets while they were cheap.  I'm working on filling out some franchises in my collection.

Well, I can't let a Criterion sale pass me by when I have things on the list.

The Godzilla set always sells out before I can get to it, but I got a few things, alongside the Bruce Lee Greatest Hits set for my dad's Christmas action movie set this year.

Eclipse Series 37:  When Horror Came to Shochiku (contains: The X From Outer Space, Goke: Body Snatcher From Hell, The Living Skeleton, and Genocide)

Todd Browning's Sideshow Shockers

Working on getting older Japanese Horror still, and I couldn't pass up the brand new Browning set for half price.

Wish I had more cash to get the other criterion stuff on the list, but not this time.  We'll get there in the end though.

"The Man in Half Moon Street" came today. :)  I'll see how it compares with the Hammer version.

Just picked up the Criterion edition of The Uninvited tonight.  One more old horror movie for the shelf.

Lazarus

Tales from the Crypt (1972) / Vault of Horror Scream Factory Double Feature set came in today.  I love this Tales from the Crypt, so even if Vault of Horror is terrible it'll still be a very worthwhile purchase.

"Vault" doesn't have the classic Sandy Claws episode, but it's still a good movie.

Great stuff! I'd like to get that "13th Chairs" DVD (BD?). Is that the sequel to Mel Brooks' "Twelve Chairs"?

The 13th Chair dvd is pretty cheap on Amazon currently and the 1929 version on there with Lugosi holds up pretty well..

just got this:

In the "tidbITs, epherma from beyond space" blu ray extra, I provided some pictures that are featured in the video. Including pics of my X-o Facto painted kit, some shots from a Wonderfest where mask replicas were on display many years ago, and an Uncle Milton IT bust I owned at one time.  It's fun contributing and not just consuming, lol.

Great scores Memph. The Wolf of Snow Hollow underrated werewolf flick imo. I really enjoy that film.

I agree! WOLF was a great werewolf movie made even better by the quirky cast.
