Thanks. Will do. I'm also currently at the 1897 Quentin/werewolf storyline. David Selby is a really good actor.

He really is. He makes Quentin a complex character for sure. Half of the time, he comes off like a real creep but then he shows some inner depth that makes you feel sorry for him as well, not to mention being very eerie as the ghost that haunts Collinwood in 1969. I can see why so many fans cite the 1897 storyline as their favorite, some of the series' best characters are to be found there: Magda and Sandor, Beth, Count Petofi, Quentin, Charity Trask and of course, old stalwarts, Barnabas and Angelique. They dont make them like this anymore, sadly.
DARK SHADOWS:

David Collins: "Dead people dont just get up and walk around.."

Sarah Collins: "Sometimes they do."

Needed some more Romero movies and a couple of upgrades.

Totally agree.  I forgot to also mention the music. It's so great. We had the soundtrack album back then and I loved it. Now I can listen to it on Amazon Music.

One can never have enough, Romero.
"They come from the bowels of hell; a transformed race of walking dead. Zombies, guided by a master plan for complete domination of the Earth."

Catching up on the Marvel movies. Some of these pics are of the UK releases. Mine are the US.

Also found a "Cloverfield/10 Cloverfield Place" 2-pack for $5 at Big Lots.

I wanna get that Edgar Ulmer set.

It's well worth it for the new prints and extras included. :)

I've been meaning to get this set for a while. The genre connection of course is THE OUTER LIMITS.
STONEY BURKE was on TV the year before OL premiered. It features the wonderful music of
Dominic Frontiere which was then used in OL.  Also, it was produced by Leslie Stevens and has a lot of actors who would show up in OL as well.  Looking forward to finally seeing it.

Got a couple of George Pal movies from Aus. co. Imprint. Unfortunately, I was too late to get the deluxe packaging for WWC and they're really expensive on eBay.

Nice selection! Let us know how the quality is on "The Brain".

Criterion's Night of the Living Dead, much like their Carnival of Souls, is going to probably be "the final word' on home video releases. I don't see how either of them could shine any brighter now. Amazing restorations.

Nice selection! Let us know how the quality is on "The Brain".

The Brain From Planet Arous source material is from the Wade Williams Collection.  The picture is sharp and bright and the sound is clear and hiss free.  It does have some noticeable missing frames, but the jumps are very minor and not as distracting as some reviewers would have you believe.

The picture is offered in both aspect ratios of 1.37:1 and 1.85:1.  Extras play with either selection.

The Tom Weaver and crew commentary is pretty good - and one of the main reasons I upgraded.

I like my copy.
