I love the hot rod pics. Your loose monsters are so minty! But poor Mummy needs some bandages. You can't leave him naked like that.

I wouldn't take the paint off that car. It's kid paint. Leave it. It's not like the car itself is worth a fortune. What do you have to gain by removing the paint? It's cute. Leave it.

Here are some better pictures of the bottom and top, I saw some renzi monsters for sale last year that came with no car. they were  on ebay and had put an offer in, but someone bought them at the sellers full price before my offer was accepted. I was going to drill some holes in my seats add them to my car..i was bummed.

Oh well. someday I will own a real renzi monstermobile. its one of the last of my shortlist holy grails that I still neeed.

They are in very good shape, I found the wolfman, frank, and drac all from one owner in New Zealand and they are near perfect, the hunchback is complete only missing a sock, I wish I could find one for him, his left toes must get so cold.  :(      I have 2 lincoln mummys actually, both in excellent shape......but alas both naked.     I need to find the right material and have a wrap party.

Its official, the paint on the car is staying.
Nice to know there are other people that appreciate a kids eye.
I too have purchased several aurora models that were painted in the 60s by kids. they are such fun to look at!
and look great in a vintage collection.

Mirabile dictu,don't you agree?

MONSTER MASH

Wanted to let everyone know that Bryan Sanders and I came together and settled our differences and made a great transaction.  It was a long drawn out road but in the end all is golden.

Thank you

What if they've been recently painted by a grown-up who still can't paint any better than he could as a kid in the sixties?

???
Collecting! It's what I do!

This thread made me spend some time staring at my Lincoln monsters for the first time in many months. They are stored in a box in the basement, so I rarely look at them. I took some pictures to convey their "cute/creepy" charm. These are just cell phone pics, nothing fancy.

Do you have any photos of all six carded monsters next to each other? Would love to see that. For completionists sake.

ALWAYS MONSTERING...

Maybe Clive is a closet Lincoln Monster fan. The resemblance is probably coincidence, but maybe not.
