Thanks for sharing.  I had never heard that before.
What ever happened to my Transylvania Twist?

For shame! Digital reproduction doesn't match the lush fullness of vinyl.

Hep, there's a point there. But...

1. Uncompressed formats like WAV, FLAC, etc., when lovingly transferred from good sources, can come VERY close.

2. Not all lovers of the material have the same finances, or storage space.

I enjoy my digitized albums much more than the original vinyl. The software Roxio came with allows me to remove most of the pops and scratches while improving the overall tone. Plus I'm not saddled with flipping the record every 15 minutes or so.
I still enjoying having the lps, and I'll listen to an lp when I first get them and every once in a while afterwards, but give me a digitized playlist for a day's worth of monsterish Halloween goodness.

Wich2

True, Chris.

Easily available/easy to use audio/graphic programs make better-sounding audio/better looking jackets affordable on a budget.

And the digital realm makes such collectibles much easier to share, which is for me a big reason to have them.

Im digging everyones record collections!!! Too too cool. Mines a bit modest but Im proud of it so far...

Do you know where you are, Bartolome? I'll tell you where you are. You are about to enter Hell, Bartolome, HELL!...

scarey1scd

Plus I get to listen to them on my bitchin' Capehart stereo I picked up at auction for $2. With "wood grained vinyl veneer on wood products with polystyrene front"!

And when I cant be near my LPs, I usually have internet Halloween Radio on. So many cool old tunes.

The artwork alone on these covers makes them worth every penny.  I've got some horror records and some rock records as well.  I find myself drawn tot he art more than the actual band or music sometimes.
I became insane, with long intervals of horrible sanity...

Nice!
I literally pulled my turntable (2, actually) out of a recycle bin at our local landfill. Pioneer PL-112D and a Technics SL-b300. Found drive belts on ebay, they play flawlessly!

My bro picked this up for me at garage sale. Anyone have any details on it? Thanks, Geezer.
