The Vampire's Night Orgy
Correct.

That's Eurohorror fertility goddess Helga Line all vamped up in the pic. I love Vampire's Night Orgy and I'm glad Code Red gave it a good release in that double feature with Dr. Jekyll And The Werewolf. Both films had been languishing in PD purgatory and have been deserving of a nice DVD release for awhile. Prior to the Code Red the only place to get the nude scenes intact on Dr. Jekyll... was the Sinister Cinema release. Give me a good clean uncut pressing over gray market or MOD DVD-Rs anytime, preferably with some nice special features. I love Code Red's product but they go OOP very fast and unless you act quickly you have to pay hefty secondary market prices. I believe this fine Leon Klimovsky double feature is already OOP.

That reminds me of a film David J. Skal was discussing in an interview segment on a monster documentary, I think it was Universal Horror. I would check but I'm too lazy.

You're on the right track, HH.  Hint One: Made before 1950.

How is he on the right track? It's not a Universal movie.

Mike, David J. Skal makes reference to this film in the documentary Universal Horror (1998) and his book, The Monster Show, as it relates to how disfigured veterans from WWI impacted the horror genre.

Oh! I thought he meant the pic was from a Universal movie.

No..this film isnt from the silent era, but not far past it either..considered an obscure, if not lost film for decades until recently released on disc. Another hint: has a big name star from golden era horror films. ;)
