Nope, and not the sequel, "Skinny Pulls a Boner".  ;)

The Skull?

Negative.

Weird. Even though it's a pretty generic looking pic, I thought someone would've nailed this one right away.

It stars one of the big names in horror...

... a few times. ;)

Me?

I don't recognize him.

Judging from some of your recent posts, I thought I was beginning to detect a theme. :)

You were.

I don't recall anyone in a post-apocalyptic, last-man-on-earth kinda movie who wore that mask.

Not a "last-man-on-earth" kinda movie, but things are definitely goin' downhill. :o

It is a key film of the sub-genre.

To be clear, this isn't a Monster / Horror flick.

I automatically include last few days before the atomic bombs start falling movies.  Really, none of these are "monster" movies unless you consider the bomb and the people pushing the buttons monstrous.  I do.

I feel the same way about world-wide plague movies.

Strictly speaking, there aren't any monsters in "The Monolith Monsters" - just inconveniently located crystals.

I think they all belong in our little game.

They certainly do. I was just trying to clarify things for those playing along, not calling you out. :)

I only directed the clue at you because I knew you were a fan of the (sub-?) genre. 8)

The specifics of the apocalypse were left kinda vague in this particular film, but hinted at down the line.
