Well, trolling through IMDB seemed a bit like cheating (although checking a guess seems OK).  But, no one else is guessing; so checking a few likely titles, I found a character named Duncan (played by George De Vries) listed in Mission Mars (1968).

OK; here's something more contemporary, but still from the last century :)

No guesses, yet?  Ok; here's another clue:

Still no guesses.  No one recognizes those Academy Award winning hands?

The bloody mess picture stars an AA winner? Is it CARRIE?

No, not Carrie.  This movie is from just over a decade after the original.
The AA winning actor above won one of his acting awards for portraying a famous member of a profession, and the other main actor in this movie briefly gave up acting to pursue an actual career in the same profession.

No, The Manitou was actually my last one.

This two word titled movie is from 9 years after The Manitou.

Ohhhh, I got it. It's a film I cannot stand that got a Cosby show star in a lot of trouble isn't it? Angel Heart....right?

Anton Phibes

So---is it Angel Heart? Did I guess right? Is this thing on....hello???  >:D

You chat here when you are OFF work?

I always assumed that was why the posts dry up around here on the weekend - everybody's home doing fun stuff, instead of being stuck all day at their boss' computer.

I try to keep my work life and private life separate.  :)
