I am elated to be able to announce that I will be writing a monthly column for Mondo Cult Online beginning immediately. It is an extension of my Grey Matters column in Mondo Cult Magazine and will allow me to report on the state of movies, television, books, cave drawings and other forms of visual art. Like my other columns, both past and present, Grey Matters will focus mostly on Horror, Science Fiction and Fantasy – all with a healthy dose of Geekosity. (Hey, you write what you know.)

I want to thank both Brad Linaweaver and my dear friend Jessie Lilley for working so hard on making this happen. Jessie and I work well together, so to get to do another project with her and for her, thrills me to my creamy nougat center. Fans of my columns, along with new fans I get along the way, have Jessie and Brad to thank for this free monthly version of Grey Matters.

If you've enjoyed my columns in Famous Monsters Of Filmland, Mondo Cult Magazine and Undying Monsters Magazine, then I truly believe you'll get a kick out of Grey Matters.

I love it! As I said on- ahem...another social website- I thoroughly enjoyed reading about the backstory to one of the most memorable scary stories that my family enjoyed.  You have such a relatable creative style! I look forward to your column, and I signed up for more mondo! AND more Grey Matters!   :)

I just wish I could promise that all of the columns could be backstories of shows you enjoy. I guess there are a few ALF stories that might make it into future columns. For the most part, though, I just comment - good and bad - about horror and the geek aspects of being a fan. Sometimes I wax nostalgic and sometimes I rip a part something that ticked me off and snark flies. (My column for Famous Monsters where I comment on the "re-imagining" of Psycho that Gus Van Sant pooped out come to mind.) But I can promise you that, in almost all cases, I'll try to make you laugh, have a good time and embrace your fellow geekness.

Thank you for the wonderful words and support.
D'Entre les Morts,
