One other thing we thought we should share. Hake's Americana & Collectibles now has a YouTube channel where we will occasionally be featuring certain items in our auctions with the help of a handy dandy 360 camera. Check it out, here's the link for the video of the Aurora Big Frankie in the current auction!

Yesterday we featured the pressbook and movie herald original art created by Jack Thurston for the 1967 double-bill release of It! and The Frozen Dead! Here's the art he created for The Frozen Dead. Rather chilling, wouldn't you agree?

Here's the link for more info and a look at the full piece.

Well, this particular image was also reproduced for Famous Monsters, issue # 40 too.   Different art, but same monster image.

Same head was repainted by Ron Cobb, probably at the behest of Warren. "Horror Hotel" also covered in the issue.

Hi Mike.  Exactly,  since that particular movie was one of the main cover stories in that issue.  Wonder if Thurston did the painting for the Horror Hotel movie poster too, since he was doing poster art at the time.

Jack Davis did the poster.

Thanks Mike.  A few different artists obviously got some "great mileage" from that creepy image.

What collection of horror actors/actresses signatures is complete without the incomparable Vincent Price? We've got just the thing you're looking for in the auction (which ends tomorrow)!
