Here's another great Creature From The Black Lagoon item, as yesterday was the 60th Anniversary of the film's debut. This Aurora store display model is currently available for bidding. Check it out!

And here's a direct link to this item.

I wonder how many of those still exist? (Same for any Aurora monster kit.) I see one for sale, every once in a while, but never know whether it's the same one as last time.

I believe this is the second Creature store display model we've offered, as the previous example had some condition issues that differ from this example. There can't be too many left, but we do have Dracula and Land of the Giants store displays this auction as well.

Man, I would like to buy ALL of the monster related items I see here.

Here's another great horror item being offered in the current Hake's Americana & Collectibles auction - an original lobby card for Ed Wood's infamous 1959 film Plan 9 From Outer Space! The lobby card is being offered along with some other Ed Wood film stills (from the original 1955 release of Wood's Bride Of The Monster).

Did you see this classic set of monster buttons from the 1960s? They're being offered in the current Hake's Americana & Collectibles auction along with an original vending machine insert card. Check them out!

Nice complete set! I didn't realize those cards were that small? Just used to seeing large images on my PC, I guess.

Yeah, they're a little small, but the graphics and color more than make up for that. It would definitely catch our eye while walking by a row of gumball machines!

Definitely one of the best gumball cards I've seen!  :)
