I was looking through some of the auctions that have closed, what happens to items with no bids?

Can you buy them direct?

Mord

Good question. I was wondering that myself.

Hakes Americana

Some items will be made available for direct purchase (at opening bid plus 15% Buyer's Premium) while some consignors ask for their items back if they do not sell. It's a case-by-case basis, but we should have that information available after the auction closes tomorrow. We'll have that information posted on our site sometime late Thursday afternoon of Friday morning. We'll be sure to let you guys and ghouls know when it's up.

Well the latest Hake's Americana & Collectibles auction has come to a close. We would like to thank our bidders, consignors and anyone who took a moment to look through the auction. It's this interest that helped spur the auction to a grand total of $1,126,203! We had several items take off with bidders and some of those included monster and/or horror-related collectibles.

Some of the highlights include -

The Aurora Master Monster Maker model contest kit sold for $3,248.
