Read all of the negatives, figured I'd still give it a shot. Mine will never see water anyway, so if it comes broken a bit of glue and up on the shelf. Never thought I'd get one (like Adam said, if I saw an old pet store I'd check out the shelves and ask if there's any old stock in the back) so this'll do for now. Thanks for the head's up Adam.

Even in pieces the price seems reasonable, so...

I hope no one here gets the bag of plastic fruit!

Has anyone been able to repair these so they can be actually used in an aquarium?
I'm fine with model building, and I'm sure IF they could be fixed that I could repair one.

Been wanting one of these for eons, but if its busted beyond repair, there is no sense in wasting the money.

I hope all of you with broken Creatures are trying to get your money back (or replacements)? There's no reason we should have to pay for broken merchandise. Will ebay pay, if the seller won't?

You got to be friggin kiddin me, I have the worst luck with this seller, I'm the one that put the photo up of the broken creatures, just got my Saturday mail and received a plastic plant along with some small plastic fruit. The worst thing is this was a quantity 3 purchase which cost me 54 bucks plus they're not even large fruit as you can see from the can of ravioli for size reference. After my wife was done laughing at me she said "WHY DO YOU KEEP GET ORDERING STUFF FROM THAT IDIOT".

This really bothers me. This guy has a potential goldmine with these Creatures and he just pisses it away by sending them in envelopes. Can you imagine how many he could sell if he charged a little more to package them properly? I would love to order a few of these, but even at $18, who wants to get a bunch of broken plastic pieces?

Sorry Frankenstein Rock, but I did get a chuckle out of it.  I'm sure I'll be paid back for it once I receive mine.

This is like ordering from Captain Company. Maybe a little better than Captain Company. At least we are getting fruit.

But you can't even eat the fruit!

Exactly. That's the most aggravating thing about all this. The seller has a large quantity of items with value to collectors and they are blown out dirt cheap only to be destroyed by mail carriers because of the crappy packing, without even the option to pay extra for decent packing. Just ridiculous. I took a shot with one and almost dread receiving it. We can repair them up to a point, but for everyone to have to is beyond belief. Also, if the clear plastic container is crushed try repairing that. I'd hate to have this dunderhead's feedback rating after this debacle is over with.
ALWAYS MONSTERING...

This is the most bizarre, albeit hilarious, thing I've ever seen in all my years of online shopping.  This is exactly why I didn't order one of these.  I just can't wrap my mind around why so many people get these packages of plastic fruit instead of what they ordered.  I don't understand why eBay hasn't banned this idiot yet.  It's not like this in an isolated incident.

Maybe this was intended to complement the Creature. Something in the order of those Aurora customizing kits.
