Rest in Peace Mark, you have many people that love you and will miss you

Being fairly new to this site I didn't know Mark as some of you did. But I'm very sad to hear of his passing. I had respect for that guy. I'm a huge Bigfoot fanatic. And when I posted pics of my life sized Bigfoot a while back he was one of the only people to comment in my thread. And things like that mean a lot to me. With the user name "unknown primate" I guess I felt some sort of connection to him since we were both really into the same thing. I hope where ever he is now he finally knows the truth about the possibility of Sasquatch's existence. Rest in peace brother.

I was shocked to hear about this. Although I did not know Mark personally. I am sure his presence on this board touched many. Rest in peace Mark. Condolences to Mark's family and those here on the UMA.

So sorry to read this. He was one of the friendliest, non-judgmental and interesting posters on the forum. RIP.

I would imagine UP's cousin met him at the pearly gates with a reverse suplex

Ah damn. Of all the members here he was the one I knew best. R.I.P. buddy.

My prayers got out this morning to Mark's family and friends who have to 'lay him to rest' .. It will take all the strength that they can muster and even with all our prayers and love .. it will be an Herculean task.

Mark will live forever in our hearts and souls .. he is welcome (as said before by TV Horror) to haunt me anytime.

*I keep thinking of the movie 'It's a Wonderful Life' .. in many ways .. Mark was our George Bailey.

That's right, his funeral is today! Now I know why I couldn't sleep last night! I was probably trying to suppress the memory. I need to get my condolences card in the mail, too. Wow...I was still hoping to wake up and find out it was all a terrible dream.

As I said earlier in this thread. I'm very saddened by his loss. I hope it's not inappropriate to ask. But does anyone know how he passed?

It was a heart attack. We almost lost him to one awhile back. He seemed to have overcome it, and been doing well.

The beautiful Stamper family is in my thoughts and heart today.. I will say it again; I am so very thankful for all the time that was shared with us here, and I know that Ms. Liz is being well taken care of by her wonderful family.  It's so darn hard being a grown-up, and I think this is why we Monster kids come to this place for camaraderie and peace. Every minute Mark spent here meant something to all of us. He exhibited his fantastical art and shared his extensive knowledge of every subject imaginable! He brought so much joy and creative spirit to the UMA.  Liz, I know you know how much Mark meant to us....and the same goes for you. Please stay in touch and let us try to give you a helping hand or a tiny smile in these upcoming days. We are here for you and your sweet family.
