The Drunken Severed Head

On behalf of Meek: I am sharing an image of an artwork that a friend of Linda's owns. It is a Halloween card/artwork that she Linda did for the friend but never had a photo of it to share here.

Now the image, and wishes for a bright-as-a-full-moon Halloween, are passed on to all friends here.

The art was carefully cut away from the background, and a background of black paper put behind it to give depth. Here it is, below.

I know Linda IS out there, enjoying traveling undiscovered areas of the October Country. We'll meet with her again.

Sincere Thanks, MAX {& BELA-ted HAPPY ANNIVERSARY, to you & JANE!}
... Exquisite, Miss LINDA; brings a tear, :'(, to my eye, your work, it does! So Perfect!
... Thank you & GOD BLESS!
... LINDA'S Work, so befitting, of our Youth's HALLOWEENS, reminded me, of another life episode: learning, in High School, for Theatre class, a poem, by RUDYARD KIPLING, which I've never forgotten, and, thanks, to same, had the exquisite honour, of performing, for GENERAL TERRY {& PACKY PAUL?} last summer, at WONDERFEST. I share it, with you, now.

                 {Dedicated, to LINDA "MEEK" MILLER}
               WHEN EARTH'S LAST PICTURE IS PAINTED
            --------------------------------------------------
When Earth's last picture is painted and the tubes are twisted and dried,
When the oldest colours have faded, and the youngest critic has died,
We shall rest, and, faith, we shall need it -- lie down for an aeon or two,
Till the Master of All Good Workmen shall put us to work anew!

And those that were good shall be happy: they shall sit in a golden chair;
They shall splash at a ten-league canvas with brushes of comets' hair;
They shall find real saints to draw from -- Magdalene, Peter, and Paul;
They shall work for an age at a sitting and never be tired at all!

And only the Master shall praise us, and only the Master shall blame;
And no one shall work for money, and no one shall work for fame,
But each for the joy of the working, and each, in his separate star,
Shall draw the Thing as he sees It for the God of Things as They Are!

... "Do you like KIPLING?"
... I don't know; I've never KIPLED!" ;D
