All quiet this morning thus far.  Forry sleeps.  Honored at film premieres, spoken of on Boards, thought of constantly--Mr. Sci-Fi, Dr Acula, Ack-Ack, the Ackermonster--his community keeps him in their thoughts and prayers.

I can only pray for him. That's all I can do. If I had money, I
would fly out to Karloffonia, see the man one more time, drop on my knees,
look him in the eyes and give him a sincere and heartfelt...THANK YOU.

I'm sure he knows how much we (the fans whom he inspired) treasure

Joe Moe reports on his Facebook page that Forry is rallying!!! He doesn't know for how long - a day, a week, a month, etc., but he now hopes that Forry will make it to his 92nd birthday!!

Following a long depressing haul, there is some GOOD NEWS.

All of your cards, letters and well-wishes have really caused Forry to rally! The torrent of love flooding the Ackerminimansion has encouraged Forry to fight for his life. I can't predict how much longer we'll have him around. A day? A week? A month? Who knows? But I CAN tell you we're taking full advantage of this upturn to really encourage Forry to get stronger and hang around a while more. I am actually feeling hopeful he'll make it to his 92nd birthday on Nov. 24th. Please pass this message on and let everyone know that their tributes, stories and prayers have had a miraculous effect on Forry. We should all continue to support him (and each other) and enjoy his presence as long as we are able...

 I see there hasn't been any new posts here lately, hopefully no news is good news. Still keeping Forry in my thoughts.

Josie, No news is, hopefully, good news.  Last I heard--on Facebook--Forry is hanging in there!  At CHFB they are saying he has been drinking his Ensure and that friend Angus Scrimm brought him some home-made chicken soup.  Remember, Forry turns 92 on NOV 23--it's not too soon to start sending birthday cards and letters.  And for that matter, keep on sending all kinds of happy cards and letters!  Forry loves getting them, and we feel that all the positive attention from fans has had a positive effect on him in this!  Write on?  RIGHT ON!

If I got my dates straight,Sara Karloff's B/D is the 23rd  and Forry's is the 24th.

Yep, yep--ol' Paw Paw's brain done slipped a cog there---Boris Karloff and daughter Sara on the 23rd, and Forry the 24th!  But don't let that stop you from sending his b'day card out today if you want!  Write today and write often!

Right now he really needs our letters to help give him strength, and to lift his spirits. I'm glad he's remaining stable for now, maybe he'll see a couple more birthdays. Here's hoping.

Found this at the card store this morning:

A shot of a cake and a seperate shot of an extremely stunning bikini-clad woman on the front. Under the cake it says, "This is your cake." Under the woman it says, "This is Edith." At the bottom of the front of the card it says, "You must choose which one you want." When you open the card it says, "Because you can't have your cake and Edith too."

If Forry is Forry, he won't choose the cake... that's for darn sure! I'm sending it out in tomorrow's mail. Keep in mind that even though there traditionally isn't a lot of Thanksgiving mail, it will take longer to get to him, around the holiday. My suggestion, mail early.

That is a noble and nice thing to do.  Just so you know Forry is in no shape to read the cards or letters and no one is reading them to him.  I was told by a friend who did get to see Forry that he is not up to it, the energy just is not there.  In the end they will be able to say Forry got X amount of cards and letters.

Well, if he rallies even more, he'll have them to read or have them read to him. If not, that's okay too. I just want him to know he's in our hearts.

If Forry kows his mail box is full of good wishes from his fans and friends, that's all that matters. He doesn't have to know what's being said as long as he knows we care.
