Hepcat, is that a "serious" problem??

Hepcat

Not if you don't care about showing off your stuff.

Hepcat, it's not a priority of mine, joined this group for conversation and sharing memories,  hope that's not a serious problem.

Hepcat

No, not at all. Just like you I'm here to share info as best I can.

Here is an interesting link....   at the bottom a reader says these boxes are 1990's because Slovania, the place of printing, became independent around then.

Interesting.  There's one way to date some of them.

Here's a shot of my vintage set...

Nice Mummy!   I just got a new set off eBay for under 10.00.      No mummy.      but still its a start.

Skully, I know its not a priority, but I would be glad to help you upload a picture of the vintage candy bag with the wild graphics for all of us to see.

You did express great excitement about wanting to show us a picture and it would make everybody's day to see such a unique item, that no one else has seen.

let me know, I have a photo bucket account, thats how I post pictures here.      You could send me a pic off your phone and I could post it.

please think about it.

I wish so bad that I could get a picture of this original bag of these candies, right now it's the only one I know of that still exists! I remember them from Halloween trick or treating, getting many in my bag of "goodies" way back then. Back in the sixties, here in Reading, we had an A&P food store, along with an ACME, they were actually next to each other in the city on Penn Street, I sort of remember seeing the bags of them as a kid, all that great vintage (now) Halloween stuff back then, along with the great toy displays in the supermarkets on top of the  food shelves!  I only own 2 or 3 original 1963 boxes, otherwise, I'd let some go, but, they are really rare.

Do your original boxes have the cigarette word along the bottom?    Do you possibly have a mummy you might want to trade for something?     Would love to see a picture of the boxes you have too.

its great to share!

Ok guys.  I know a few of you offered to help me load some pictures, and I really appreciate it, but I left my son do it for me, a little less "painful" that way, for me. I openly admit, I'm NOT good with these things on the computer, but, you already knew that.  I hope that these are ok for you, this is the "original"1963 bag that these came in. I also took photos of my Mummy box, it's not in the best shape, but as mentioned, really scarce, I only have one or two others of the other monsters buried somewhere in a box. If I had duplicates, I'd trade, but unfortunately I don't, least right now anyway.

Monsters For Sale

Oh, that's a cool bag!

I'd love to find a full bag of those cigarettes at a garage sale.

My son just now re-sized the front of the bag photo for you.

Skully, I would love to share these photos in my Facebook monster collecting group.  I would keep it anonymous, not that I know your name anyhow... ;-),  but would love your blessing.  Here is a link to my group...https://www.facebook.com/groups/1445540492420268/
