I don't know about any of you but for me Halloween starts when I buy my first bag of candy corn, which was two weeks ago

Around here, I can usually find Candy Corn year around. Its a weakness, considering I'm diabetic. That said, I've already begun making halloween decorations as well, such the Pug Uglies, and I am working on a halloween themed Checkerboard, Ghosts vs. Pumpkins.

Ooooh! That first bag of candy corn is the greatest fragrance on the planet! We try to hold out til mid-September, but always give in if Target puts theirs out on display!

You can find some around here year-round too but it just isn't the same. And yes the fragrance is intoxicating. At Sam's Club they have four pound bags that I must purchase immediately.

It's tough to wean Americans from their mass market Bud and Coors light beers though. Madison Avenue relabelled tasteless watery beers as "smooth" several decades ago and American drinkers bought into the scam.
