Cheers mate. I took my two little girls to Lincoln Castle last week and had to explain to them why there were cops walking about carrying machine guns. You're right something's got to give. My parents lived through the IRA bombing campaign and I remember those days too. My English teacher was severely wounded by an IRA bomb in Manchester. My dad used to say it would never end but against all the odds the two sides made a truce. But how on earth do you make peace with these maniacs? Anyway, I know political talk isn't allowed here (and rightly so imo) so I'll leave it there.
