I do miss the 70s era.
"They come from the bowels of hell; a transformed race of walking dead. Zombies, guided by a master plan for complete domination of the Earth."

People had rotten hygiene in the 70s compated to today.   Nobody was using flushable wipes so grimy asses were the norm.  Not much Body hair trimming.    Sugary gum that made your breath smell sour and worse.   No body sprays, just musky cologne.

I dont miss it🤣

Given that you were born in 1977, how do you know any of this? And how can you say you don't miss something you didn't experience?

  ::)

And since when does gum with chemical sweeteners leave you with fresher breath than sugar sweetened gum? Wouldn't the former leave you with toxic chemical breath? Since when have you ever compared the same brand of gum such as Dentyne in its original sugar sweetened variant against its present chemically sweetened variant?

???

I'll say this in praise of '70s girls: less tattoos, less implants, and no cell phones!
By the way, go easy on Dr Terror. His birthday's this week.

Wow!
The 70s, in my opinion were memorable and glorious. Especially growing up as a kid in the 70s.
There is no way to articulate or convey the true excitement that was the 1970s.

I mean....really. F*** the fact that the Government had issues ( as it still does) and oil debacle was out-of-control.  People experienced and experimented with all sorts of superficial desires. There was the beginning of Disco dancing and Hip Hop/Rap. The explosion of Disco clubs and how Disco dictated the style how people dressed.

There wasn't a strong emphasis on Manscaping Men's body hair. Nor was there for Women. It was natural to be free.

Myself, as a Gen-X'er( I cannot speak for Boomers')
Being a kid in the early 1970s was f****** fabulous.
Again, superficially speaking. The toys, Hallowe'en,Monster movies, Saturday morning cartoons, movies, comicbooks, automobiles/Hot rods, porn....etc.....etc.

Going to movies( in the 1970s) with friends and no cell phones. Actually watching a film. Or waiting for the film to be shown in the theater without the internet ruining the plot, without people from Facebook, Twitter, YouTubers' giving SPOILERS.
Wow! What a concept! No freaking cell phones.
kids and adults actually watching a film. Fun times!!!

My two favorite eras are the 1970s and 1980s. Those two decades, although not perfect in any way.
These decades are the most important to me.
Not to mention, the most nostalgic, to me.
