- I would have to choose 'The Last Action Hero'

I love the movie, and it's a childhood favorite

I also loved to play the video game of the movie as well

I really enjoyed the movie "Van Helsing" which is 'hated' on this forum.  Oh well.

Class of Nuke'em High 3 ...('still have it on VHS, which makes me feel OLD)
Killer Klowns from OuterSpace

all kinds of cheesy B movies

Evil Dead got my wife hooked on horror movies for good and now likes zombie movies, too.

"Killer Clowns" is a pretty popular cult film. I've never seen "Class of Nuke 'Em High 3." I didn't know they went beyond Part 2! I've heard rumors of both "Toxic Avenger" and "Class of Nuke 'Em High" remakes.

Assignment Terror (AKA Dracula Vs. Frankenstein)

This is the Paul Naschy Werewolf entry with Michael Rennie and Karin Dor. Even Naschy fans think this is a real stinker. I love it. The only real aggravation for me is that the vampire is such a puss. The plot is a lot like Plan 9 From Outer Space. Aliens want to use Earth monsters to terrorize the world. Fear and loathing carries great weight in a war. Everyone scoffs but if monsters were real, and alien beings using advanced scientific techniques could mass produce, and control an army of them..... I think human reign would be in big trouble. Nobody laughs off a zombie apocalypse. If humanity were set upon by an army of undead, lycanthropes, and flesh golems, it would be way worse than just zombies. I don't think the acting is that bad, the way some people do. I think it's on a par with most Eurohorror. Michael Rennie turns in a pretty good performance, and the other actors do a fine job. I've even heard people gripe about the title being lame. Assignment Terror strikes me as a cool title. The alternate title, Dracula Vs. Frankenstein, seems like the lame one. It fails to convey the plot purpose.
ALWAYS MONSTERING...

The two best things about it are 1) Rutger Hauer and 2) the nonstop bloody kills and violence

I suppose outside of this board (and like fans), there are lots of movies I like that most people hate. Otherwise, not so much.

My Dad NEVER understood why I liked  "monster movies" and I never understood his passion for "cowboy movies"...but we DID "agree to disagree".    We just treated our movies the same way we treated our love of coffee.  He liked his with two spoons of sugar and a lot of cream.  Mine is black as pitch and strong enough to melt the spoon.

I do not like a lot of the movies listed by you all, but I will not say which ones  :)  I will say that I DO like The Last Action Hero.
I am not very opinionated, because my tastes change. But I have family members who get right down peeved at me because of my love for the Nickelodeon Classic- GOOD BURGER. There is something about that movie that reminds me of a time & place in my life that I fondly recollect. I took my kids & nephew to see it in the theater, and I laughed like a crazed hyena! I will watch it anytime- anywhere!  :)  Kenan & Kel are BRILLIANT young comedians/character actors. Abe Vigoda, Sinbad, George Clinton! Anyways...I love it. I also love Sexy Beast starring Sir Ben Kingsley  and Circle of Iron.  These are my private reserve movies that everyone in my family seems to hate.

Moonshadow- You are so right! I also really like that movie, but I have heard nothing but complaints from people when you mention it. I guess people don't like the cast?? I don't know why a lot of people hate it, but I enjoy it every time it comes on. Maybe they are comparing it to the book.
