I realize this is not a horror film, but my absolute favorite work of George A. Romero is Knightriders.  There's just a quaint beauty, mixed with sadness to the film that keeps me coming back time and again.  I realize that with some of the music and hair styles and clothes it hasn't aged all that well, but there's just something I find intriguing about it.
Perhaps it's the heart rending performance by a very young (I believe this was his first film) Ed Harris as a lost soul searching to find his way in a world gone out of control with commerce, without compromising his values and integrity that does it for me.  Maybe it's the appearance of so many other actors from other Romero films that make it feel like having a good friend over for a visit.  All I know is every time it's over, I'm in tears, but grateful for having made such an emotional journey.
Anyone else feel this strong over this, or any other film, for that matter?
When the dead walk, senores, we must stop the killing, or we'll lose the war...

I met Tom Savini at a convention back in March and one of his many autograph pictures that is laid about his tabled is a still of his character from 'Knightriders', and I have to say he looks absolutely cool in it. I also think the concept of the film is creative, strange, and different: Motorcycle riders that live like knights in the medieval times - An underrated Romero picture for sure.
