I teach a history of illustration class, and Kunstler is one of the many artists I spend some time on...

Nice pics, Hepcat. I still have a number of those issues (originally purchased by my older brother).
Kelly Freas did some amazing work for Mad.

And of course those early Jack Davis covers are fantastic.

I also fondly remember the early John Severin covers for Cracked (the one with the giant mouth, and the one with a gigantic egg cracking and spilling its contents onto an urban scene). Something about the Bosch-like complexity of those images...
