Ha!

The "Monster Babies" Frankenstein has a hairstyle copied directly from Dennis the Menace.

I like the Universal Singapore walker above better than I do this thing from Florida:

I found this pic of my 13 year old at Universal Orlando. It was taken about 19 years ago

That was worded funny.... she's 32 years old now, so it was 19 years ago   :)

Cool pic Charp!

Can't beleive you have a 30something daughter.

Yep  :)  She's now called- Dr. Wendy. But as you can see- she was hugging all over 90s Frankenstein back in the day- hahahaha!

Recently acquired these 8x10 press pictures dating from 1978-1980:

Must be 1980 - Baby Frankenstein has long pants.

Dated 1980.

Dated 1978 - Not the walk-around monster.  This is from the "Land ofa Thousand Faces" make-up show.

Dated 1980.  Again, not the walk-around monster.  This is the cast of the "Castle Dracula" show.

Undated.  The walk-around monster signing autographs.

Undated.  The walk-around monster giving one kid special attention.

Undated - probably Pre-1980.  Baby Frankenstein (sans leg stitches) is seen with cast members from the "Land of a Thousand Faces" show.  The photo has a handwritten title on the back:  "No Superstition Here".

Dated 1980.  Baby Frankenstein, Frankenstein and a very creepy Easter Bunny.

Undated.  This photo of Frankenstein has a hand-written title on the back:  "Christmas Hollywood Style".

The picture of Frankenstein in the snow was taken here.  This 1972 postcard is titled "Exterior Snow Set".

Undated.  My favorite of the walk-around Frankenstein pictures.  Different Frankenstein from the others, the Phantom is darker and it is always nice to see the Psycho House.  Frank is holding a pumpkin, so it must be around Halloween.

Great thread! Really love all these pics! While not Frankenstein here's me with the Mummy at Universal. Some have said the suit is most likely the one used for Abbott & Costello meet the Mummy in combination with a Don Post mask.

Cool!

Let's post all the Universal walk-around monsters here.  Don't think I have ever seen the Mummy represented as a walk-around monster before - Just Frank & Phantom.

This is a very early pic. I believe this would have been '65 but could have been '64 which is the year the park opened.

I think it was a result of the trend to "baby-ize" things back then- Muppet Babies, Warner Bros. Babies, Bozo Babies (gak); I assume the evolution from Cabbage Patch Kids, Garbage Pail Kids, etc.?

Not the following, but didn't they do a short-lived or one shot cartoon about "Monster Babies"?

I would love to know more about this.
What ever happened to my Transylvania Twist?
