Looks like Peter Capaldi's Doctor might be a bit of a throwback to William Hartnell or Colin Baker.

Hard to believe they're already filming the finale. But then, they don't always film the episodes in sequence. They might be doing all of their location shooting at once.

Also, if you live near any of these seven cities...

Pretty sure it's supposed to be Davros. A Dalek wouldn't have a concept of seeing into the Doctor's "soul," or of "divinity".

I thought so at first as well, however, the Dalek Prime Minister in ASYLUM OF THE DALEKS spoke much like that when he described the "beauty of hatred" to Matt Smith's Doctor. I guess we will we see soon.

Ah, but Clara erased all mention of The Doctor from the Dalek databases in "Asylum of the Daleks". When the Daleks attacked the Church of the Papal Mainframe, they discovered records of him in Tasha Lem's memories. All of those Daleks were destroyed at Trenzalore ("The Time of the Doctor"). Davros, however, would never forget The Doctor!

The Daleks that were destroyed at Trenzalore certainly were not all of the Daleks in creation..the war of Trenzalore went on for hundreds of years. I'm sure in all that time, the Daleks who were attacking the town of Christmas would report information back to Skaro and the Dalek Parliment. They had more than ample opportunity to rebuild their memory banks with info concerning the Doctor over the centuries that ensued  before the final battle there. According to previous stories, the Dalek computer inside each of their casings is updated with info, etc..
I'm pretty sure that intelligence concerning the Doctor was shared amongst their race during those years..

The Cybermen had their records deleted as well, and yet they reconstructed their history concerning the Doctor by going over the gaps in their defeats and investigating them, thereby finding the common factor in each according to their Cyber-Planner/Controllers..
