I wasn't crazy about last week's episode. And this season wasn't as good as last season, overall, to me. But I still think Mr. Capaldi is a fantastic Doctor Who! It's only the writing I'm often less than thrilled with. This is bad, but he's still great...that's my point :)

Still a bit British for me but I'm slowly coming around

Count_Zirock

Its Britishness is part of its charm. The new episodes are particularly amusing, since Capaldi is Scottish. Actually, David Tennant is Scottish, too, but he played the character with a British accent. It would be great if they could get Tennant to make a return appearance and have him go Scottish in the presence of Capaldi's Doctor. (Tennant's Doctor did "affect" a Scottish accent for the episode "Tooth and Claw.")

CAPALDI WOULD HAPPILY MAKE MORE EPISODES EACH YEAR
"And I would do 20 episodes if they let me. I could do 'Doctor Who' all the year round, quite happily."
