Another thing to keep in mind if you get the DVD versions is the discs are not new. Its the 1999 discs with new packaging. I learned this the hard way when I got the Frankenstein disc about two years with the black and white cover and red logo thinking the content was new only to discover the gold '99 disc was inside.

Really? They used the restored version in the 2014 collection sets, but not the 2014 individual DVD releases? That sucks!

You heard me correct. The 2014 Legacy Collection DVD sets featured the new remasters while the 8 single DVDs from 2014 used the '99 discs. The 2012 4 packs also had the '99 discs. Im not exactly sure which prints were used for 6 film DVD set or the Frankenstein/Bride double feature DVD.

Mostly updates here. Fixed Mummy with better scan of LD cover and the artwork now extends to side cover, Meets I fixed a typo, and Phantom I had to slightly lift the image to remove something.

And one newbie. The FIRST Creature! Cover is sourced from UK LD cover.

A very lovely and important addition - THANKS!

So I also took some additional stabs at The Invisible Man. For a reminder here's my previous version.

Not bad but definitely could use some tweaking. For that one I had to shrink my DVD template to accommodate the artwork I was using since it wasn't big enough to fill up the cover. For this next variation, where I was able to keep the template in its default size, I sourced the front from a Japanese LD cover.

Not bad either but I felt the image had too much space and the logo was dominating the cover too much and restricted my use of the image. So the logo had to go. After some tweaking with the image, as well as borrowing the logo from an Invisible Man action figure card, I came up with this! I considered using the transparent logo from the LD cover but I honestly think it works better without it especially on the side cover.

Yeah.

The transparent Invisible Man title is pretty hard to read on the spine - and that is how we find the DVD on the shelf.
The only time we see the title on the front is after we have already located the disc we were looking for.

I like the first one best. The art fills up the cover better.

Tweaked the hue somewhat. Was trying to minimize the yellowish look to the faces.

A request for anyone who has the French BD for Murders in the Rue Morgue. If anyone could please check the still gallery in the bonus section and see if the VHS artwork is there and more so can post a screengrabs of it I'd greatly appreciate it. Thank you.

Wider copy of Murders in the Rue Morgue (1932). :)

Also found the back cover template for Island of Lost Souls (1932).

With this I also updated my custom DVD cover. :)

A few more. Uncropped Revenge of the Creature (1955) and The Creature Walks Among Us (1956) as well as the back cover template for the latter.
