As we await for the discovery of more large logo free images of the Classic Collection artwork I found something else that may put smiles on your faces. Some nice large logo free images for the early 1990s VHS releases for some of the horror themed Abbott and Costello films!!!!!!!  :D

Those are great, Criss! J&H is my favorite!

Here's two new ones (The Black Cat and The Raven) as well as two I posted before but for some reason are not showing now (colorized Island of Lost Souls by my friend Ansel Hollinsworth and Dracula's Daughter)

Where do you find all these, Criss? Love 'em!

I stumble on these mostly by accident. The Black Cat and The Raven ones I found on a website called Horrortalk where they were reviewing the recent UK DVD releases of the films. Island of Lost Souls I found on a site called Moviemail where they were reviewing the UK BluRay. The image was in B&W though so I had my friend Ansel colorize it so it was identical to the VHS cover. Dracula's Daughter and Mummy's Curse I believe were from Netflix. I'm hoping to find larger versions of those two. The Invisible Man I found on facebook on the official Invisible Man page. The image was in reverse so I fixed it. The Abbott and Costello pics I found on movieposterdb.com. The rest that I've found which isn't much I can't remember.

Pulled these from the double feature laserdisc cover. Not that clear but still cool. I'll repost if I find better ones.

I wonder if Kirk Hammett has the original artwork on his wall.

My attempts at doing some DVD covers. I'll try to do more if I find more logo free images.

Mord

Wow, some of my absolute favorites!

Some of that art was also used on the laserdiscs...

Mord

I was an avid laserdisc collector. Who knew they would shrink to 5" and hold all that content (and more) on only one side.

dlhenderson

Yea, me too. It was a great ride while it lasted. I traded off many of my LDs but kept all the monster ones.

I still own some laserdisc. :o

A few more of the LD's I still have...

This is the one that made me buy a laserdisc player. IT MADE ME!  u6juu
