$5, Man! Our Walmart sold out in less than a week at $13!

Back in January this store had a brazilian of them at $13 - packed endcap, and lining the top shelves of the action figure aisle.  Maybe three weeks ago that sold down to just a full endcap.  There was maybe a dozen left at $5 before I grabbed mine.

Also, I posted in the couple Kong threads I saw, but I was in Walmart last night and they've clearanced those 18" Kong figures all the way down to $5! I had to cave in and get one at that price.

That's a great deal. Also, with a professional paint job, it could be quite a nice figure.

I repainted mine to try to make it look a bit more like Rick Baker's 1976 King Kong; it's perfect scale for the Shogun Warrior Godzilla.

That looks really great! But he's missing the sweet firebird decal on his chest to compliment the disco fire graphics on Godzilla's tongue.

I have been looking for a single volume containing the complete stories of H.P. Lovecraft since the early 1990's. At nearly 1100 pages, it looks like I have a lot of reading to catch up on!

Posted these in "Monsters of Rock" section, but posting here too. This link gets more traffic I think. So here you go \m/

These will be in my collection very soon.

Not the usual "Latest Get", but something I've been trying to "get" for a long time. Now I can make a fantasy Creature Hasbro binder using this paint-by-numbers box art!  :)

Very Nice! I have the hardback 'Necronomican', but I can't bring myself to read it...don't want it getting dog-eared!

I have a tendency to fall asleep and crush my books! These days I prefer to buy hardbacks which I keep pristine on my shelves, then download them to read on my phone, essentially paying for them twice. We live in strange times.

Amazon should have a deal for books like they do with CDs. You buy the physical CD and get the DL for free.

Bought this the other day on eBay. Now I have all the Screamin 1:4 Cenobites (except Dr. Channard who I used to own but lost along the way!). The 1:4 Screamin kit sculpts were rather hit and miss in my opinion (the Freddy and Micheal Myers looked terrible) but all of the Hellraiser kits are excellent. I always found the Female Cenobite's head to be a little square and odd looking on the box art but the actual sculpt is much better 'in the flesh'.
